MySQL 2008年大会开始接受注册

　　日前，由MySQL AB公司和O'Reilly传媒合作举办的MySQL第六年度大会暨博览会开放注册系统，接受与会报名;并在O'Reilly传媒的网站上公布了会议的内容安排。这次的MySQL大会将于2008年4月14日到17日在美国加利福尼亚州的Santa Clara举行。预计将有超过1600名来自世界各地的开源用户和数据库用户齐聚一堂，其中包括部分目前发展最快的企业用户以及活跃的MySQL社区用户。届时，MySQL公司首席执行官Marten Mickos和斯坦福线性加速器中心的Jacek Becla将会发表主题演讲。

　　四天的会议内容包括主题演讲、专题分会、技术导览、展示会以及网络交流活动等，会议组织方期待与会者能够在一个轻松又热烈的气氛中，共同学习和分享MySQL的相关知识和技巧。

　　此前，业界对于本次会议号召的响应非常热烈：会议组织者收到了近300份提交的演讲提案，100多场专题分会讲座和技术导览，适宜听众水平面非常广，从新手到专家，从小公司到大企业。相关演讲者和专家将会指导与会人员如何利用MySQL快速构建可扩展的在线数据库应用软件。虽然会议具体日程安排仍在进一步商榷中，不过相关的专题和导览会议内容已经确定了。期间还安排了网络互动活动，包括和MySQL的工程师及管理团队面对面交流活动。此外大会将为包括微软、Sun在内的几十家赞助商和参展商提供世界级的大型展厅展示他们最新的产品。
